Open Clans in the main menu, choose a name and a 2–4 letter tag, and pay 1,000 Qora. The founder is the leader.
Players can apply to open clans or be invited.
The clan tag shows before your name in every match, on the map name tag, the leaderboard and in lobbies, for example [NO1] bars. If your clan owns a clan picture, the tag takes its look:
| Clan picture | Tag style |
|---|---|
| Clan Shield | Steel blue |
| Clan Blades | Crimson with a glow |
| Clan Star | Gold with a glow and a light sweep |
| Clan Phoenix | Fire gradient with a glow and a light sweep |
A clan banner themes the clan window and the clan's row on the leaderboard. Clan items belong to the clan, not to the player who paid.
Clan chat works from the menu and between matches. Every member's match XP counts as clan XP, which drives the clan level and the clan leaderboard.
Scheduled clan-versus-clan matches from 5v5 to 10v10 on dedicated maps, with live spectating for everyone else. Clan wars are opening soon; a clan founded now has its roster ready.

The tag is the first thing other players see before your name, in brackets, on the map and in lobbies. You have two to four letters, so make them count.
Before you pay the 1,000 Qora, search the clan list to check nobody already uses something too similar.
Clans live or die on whether members actually play together. Some practices that help:
Clan play rewards the same habits as ranked team play: one player holds the land front, another runs the navy, someone saves for a Missile Silo and SAMs. Practise these splits in private lobbies with teams on, then take them into ranked. The diplomacy guide and navy guide cover the details.
| Item | What it changes | Good first buy if |
|---|---|---|
| Clan banner | The clan window and your row on the clan leaderboard | You care about how the clan looks to people browsing clans |
| Clan picture | The look of the tag itself in every match (Shield, Blades, Star or Phoenix) | You want members to stand out on the map |
Both are bought once with Qora by the leader.
Founding a clan costs 1,000 Qora. Qora is earned from the battle pass free lane or bought in the store.
