Conqora

Conqora FAQ

Short answers to the questions new players ask most.

Is Conqora free?

Yes. Playing is free with no download, install or account needed: open conqora.io and join a game as a guest. Accounts are free too and keep your progress, ranked rating, clan and items. The store sells cosmetics only; nothing that affects a match can be bought.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Conqora runs in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebooks, phones and tablets. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all work; a recent version gives the best performance.

How many players are in a match?

Public quick games hold up to 30 players plus the map's nations and up to 400 bots. Private lobbies let the host set the player count; ranked is 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 with bots on the map.

How long does a match take?

Usually 10 to 30 minutes. A game ends when someone owns 80% of the land (95% for a team) or when the optional time limit runs out, in which case the largest player wins.

How do I win?

Own 80% of the map's land, or hold the most when the clock runs out. See the beginner's guide for how to get there.

What are Qora?

Qora is the account currency for cosmetics: banners, crowns, territory colours and patterns, nuke explosions, name styles, badges and reserved names. You earn Qora from the battle pass and can buy packs in the store.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Create a lobby and send the invite link, or join with the six-letter code. For ranked, make a party and queue duo or trio together. Friends can be added from the Friends list and invited directly when online.

Is there a mobile version?

Conqora works in the mobile browser with touch controls: tap to attack, long-press for the menu, pinch to zoom. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen window.

Why did my alliance break?

Alliances last five minutes unless renewed. They also break if you attack your ally or if your nuke kills their troops or lands on their tiles, which marks you as a traitor.

What does the traitor mark do?

For 30 seconds your defence is halved and your attacks move slower, and everyone sees the mark. Other players tend to refuse alliances with a recent traitor.

How do I report a player?

Open the player's window (click their land or name) and choose Report. Reports are reviewed and can lead to chat mutes or bans.

How do I delete my account?

Use Delete account in the main menu (bottom of the left column). Your account and data are removed immediately.

Can I make my own map?

Yes. Map editor in the main menu lets you paint land, water, mountains and rivers, place nations and publish. Published maps are reviewed and then appear under Community maps for everyone.

What is the battle pass?

A seasonal reward track with 50 tiers of 500 XP each. Every tier has a free reward; the premium lane unlocks with Qora and adds exclusive items.

Which browsers and hardware does it need?

Any modern browser with WebGL. The game is tuned to run smoothly on integrated graphics such as Intel Iris Xe; append ?perf=1 to the address to see your frame times.
