A free real-time strategy game that runs in your browser
Conqora is a multiplayer conquest game played on a world map. You start as a single dot of land, expand into empty territory, build an economy of cities, ports and factories, and fight the players and nations around you until someone controls 80% of the map or the clock runs out. Matches take 10 to 30 minutes, run smoothly in any modern browser, and need no download, install or account: you can play as a guest in seconds.
Play Conqora freeEvery player spawns on the same map at the same time, alongside AI nations that defend their land. Your troops grow by themselves, and every attack sends part of them against a neighbour, tile by tile. Gold from your land, trade ships and trains pays for buildings, warships, aircraft carriers and nuclear weapons: atom bombs, hydrogen bombs and MIRVs that leave fallout nobody can grow on. Alliances let you share vision and trade, and breaking one marks you as a traitor for everyone to see. The How to play page explains the details.
Play on the whole world or on regions such as Europe, Africa, East Asia, Oceania, North and South America, plus fictional maps and community maps built in the in-game map editor. Rivers, mountains and coastlines all matter: boats follow rivers inland, defence posts hold mountain passes, and the shape of a continent decides where the big wars happen.
Conqora is free, and everything that affects the match is free. The store sells cosmetics only: banners, crowns, patterns, colours and the like, paid with Qora, the in-game currency you earn by playing or can buy. Ads in the menu keep the servers running; a one-time "No ads" purchase removes them.
Conqora is built on the open-source OpenFront engine (MIT licence) with its own servers, accounts, ranked play, clans, cosmetics and maps. It is an independent game and is not affiliated with other games built on the same engine.
