How it works

• 50 tiers per season, 500 XP each.
• Every tier has a free reward (often Qora or an item) and a premium reward.
• Unlock the premium lane once per season with Qora; it immediately pays out all tiers you've already reached.
• Season-exclusive items never come back to the store.

Earning XP

Season 1: Iron Dawn

The first season brings pass-only name colours, badges, a crown, territory patterns, building styles, explosions and the animated Iron Dawn banner.

Is the pass worth it?

The free lane alone pays a good amount of Qora over a season. The premium lane is for players who want the season's exclusive looks. Neither affects gameplay.

How much XP a season takes

A full season is 50 tiers × 500 XP = 25,000 XP. The numbers below use the real XP sources to show how quickly typical matches add up. They're examples; your exact totals depend on how long the match runs and where you finish.

At around 400 XP per match, one tier takes just over one match, and the whole pass takes a little over 60 matches. Strong finishes in big public games and ranked wins bring that number down quickly.

Planning your season

1. Count your matches, not your hours. Each match's base 50 XP plus up to 100 for time means even a quick loss moves the bar.
2. Finish matches. The time bonus and the 25 XP per player you finish above reward staying until the end, even when you're no longer winning.
3. Mix in ranked. Ranked doubles every XP source. A ranked match you lose can still be worth more than an average public match. See how ranked works.
4. Play big public games for placement XP. In a game with many players, surviving long enough to finish above most of them is worth a lot, even without the win. How to win from behind helps here.
5. Spread it out. A few matches most days gets you to tier 50 more comfortably than a rush at the end of the season.

When to unlock the premium lane

The premium lane is unlocked once per season with Qora and immediately pays out every tier you've already reached. That means:

• There's no loss in waiting. You can play the free lane first and decide later in the season.
• Unlocking early only makes sense if you like seeing premium rewards arrive tier by tier.
• If you're unsure you'll play enough, wait until you're well into the tiers and then decide whether the remaining rewards are worth it.

Whatever you choose, season items are exclusive and won't come back to the store, so check the season's rewards before it ends.

Free lane vs premium lane

Levels and the pass

The same XP that fills the battle pass also raises your account level, which shows on your lobby card. So a session spent climbing ranked moves three things at once: your rating, your level and your pass tier.
