Open conqora.io, set a name and a flag, and join. Guests can play:

Press Sign up in the menu and use an email and password, or Sign in with Google. Email accounts get a verification email; you can reset your password from the login window.
We store your username, email, game stats and items. You can delete your account at any time from the main menu; the data is removed immediately. Details in the privacy policy.

There is no penalty for starting as a guest. Many players try a few matches first and sign up once they know they like the game.
Every match gives XP: 50 for playing, up to 100 for time, 25 for each player you finish above, 100 for a win, and double in ranked. With an account that XP goes to your level and the battle pass, which has 50 tiers of 500 XP each. As a guest the match is just as fun, but nothing is kept.
Ranked solo, duo and trio need a free account. You start at a rating of 1000, play five placement matches, and then climb tiers from Bronze to Grandmaster. Ranked also pays double XP. See how ranked works.
Your account gets a friend code in the format XXXX-XXXX and a friend link. Anyone who uses either becomes your friend instantly, no request to accept. Your friends list shows who is online and who is in a match, and invites appear as a card in the bottom-right corner (top of the screen during a match) with a 30-second countdown to join or decline.
Join an existing clan, or found your own for 1,000 Qora with a name and a 2 to 4 letter tag. The tag then appears before your name in matches and lobbies. Clans have chat, clan XP and a leaderboard; clan wars from 5v5 to 10v10 are opening soon. See how clans work.
Banners, crowns, territory colours and patterns, building styles, nuke explosions and name colours stay on your account, along with any Qora you have. None of them changes how a match plays.
If you forget your password, reset it from the login window.
If you play at school, at work or on a family computer, guest play is often the right choice:

A reserved name with a verified mark is available in the store if you want to make sure nobody else plays under your name.

Guests don't collect XP, levels or items, so there is nothing to carry over. Your progress starts the moment you have an account.
Not for private lobbies: guests can join with an invite link or the six-letter code. For the friends list, friend codes and ranked parties, you need an account. See play with friends.
