Conqora comparison · updated 2026-10-16
If you have played FrontWars, you already know the core of Conqora: spawn on a world map, expand by clicking, build an economy, and nuke your way to the top. Both games come from the same family of real-time territory games, so the first minute will feel familiar. The difference is in what Conqora builds on top of that core.
Conqora's navy has aircraft carriers, built at your ports. A carrier launches air raids that destroy a single building within 110 tiles, and nuke bombers that drop an atom bomb with no silo needed. Aim a nuke bomber at an enemy warship or carrier and it locks on and follows the ship until it lets go. SAMs and warships can shoot bombers down, so the sea becomes a three-dimensional fight.
Press T and every SAM launcher's range on the map is drawn. While it is on, your nuke preview turns orange when the target is inside enemy air defence, so you know before you launch whether it will probably be intercepted.
Conqora has three ranked queues: solo (1v1), duo (2v2) and trio (3v3), each with its own skill rating, five placement matches and tiers from Bronze to Grandmaster. Duo and trio are played with a party of friends. See how ranked works.
Found a clan with a tag, a banner and a clan picture. The clan tag appears before your name in every match, and a clan picture bought for the clan gives the tag its own colours and glow. Clan chat, clan XP, a clan leaderboard, and clan-versus-clan wars from 5v5 to 10v10 with live spectating (opening soon).
Fog of war (you only see what your land and units can see), hotspots (gold mines and oil fields worth fighting over), fast economy, instant build, no nukes, time limits, random spawns and teams, mixed into the public rotation.
Factories run trains between your cities and ports, and a higher factory level means more trains. In the classic economy levels count in full up to level 8 and then with diminishing returns, so a giant factory is strong but not a win button. The fast economy keeps the generous curve for quick, explosive games.
The empty land of the map is held by passive territories with a troop cap and no starting gold. They don't raid players or set off alarms, so your attention stays on the real opponents.
A friends list with friend codes and invite links, private lobbies that survive the match, a corner card that shows game invites without covering the map, a full map editor with community maps, and cosmetics from animated banners to custom nuke explosions. Nothing in the store affects a match.
Play the one you enjoy. If you like the genre and want more systems to master, carriers, ranked teams and clans, give Conqora a match: it's free, there's nothing to download, and you can be in a game in ten seconds.

There is no wrong answer here, and plenty of people play more than one game in this genre. A few honest pointers for deciding where to spend tonight's hour:
Most of your muscle memory carries over. Here is what you can stop worrying about:
| Shared with the genre | How it works in Conqora |
|---|---|
| Choosing a spawn | Your ping is big and white, teammates ping in team colour, everyone else in red. Move it until the countdown ends. |
| Expanding by clicking | Each click sends a share of your troops (the attack ratio, Z and X). |
| Troop regrowth | Fastest at about 40% of your maximum, so keep spending. |
| Cities, ports, factories | Start at 125K and double with each one you own, capped at 1M. |
| Defense posts | Land within 30 tiles is five times harder to take. |
| Atom bombs, hydrogen bombs, MIRVs | 750K, 5M and 35M, launched from a 1M missile silo. |
| Alliances and betrayal | Right click to request; breaking one marks you as a traitor for 30 seconds. |
Three Conqora systems are worth ten minutes of attention before your first serious match:
| Feature | In Conqora |
|---|---|
| Players per public game | Up to 30, plus the map's nations and territories |
| Match length | 10–30 minutes |
| Win condition | 80% of the land (95% for a team), or the largest when a time limit ends |
| Ranked | Solo 1v1, duo 2v2, trio 3v3 on maps built for each size, with no nations |
| Social | Friend codes, invite links, private lobbies, clans |
| Store | Cosmetic only; nothing affects a match |
If you enjoy FrontWars, Conqora plays in the same genre with its own maps, modes and systems on top: carriers, ranked teams, clans, fog of war and hotspots. It's free, so the easiest way to find out is one match.
Yes. Make a private lobby, pick any map and rules, and share the invite link or the six-letter code. Guests can join without an account, and everyone returns to the lobby after the match. More on playing with friends.
Not to play public games or lobbies. A free account is needed for ranked, clans and keeping your cosmetics and progress.
It needs a browser with WebGL 2 and is tuned for integrated graphics such as Intel Iris Xe. Add ?perf=1 to the address to see a frame read-out if anything feels slow.
