Ranked explained: rating, placements, tiers, and duo and trio queues

Conqora guide · updated 2026-10-14

Ranked is Conqora's competitive mode: smaller maps, no nations, a skill rating that moves with every result, and a leaderboard. Three queues exist, and each has its own rating.

The queues

QueueSidesMapsBots on the map
Ranked solo1 vs 1Ironclad Strait, Ember Atoll, Highland Duel20
Ranked duo2 vs 2Twin Bays, Shattered Coast, Frost March40
Ranked trio3 vs 3Tri Delta, Sundered Isles, Grand Basin60

Duo and trio are played with a party: open Ranked, create a party, and invite friends with the invite link or the party code. Everyone in the party queues together and plays on the same side.

Placement matches

Your first five matches in a queue are placements: you have a rating, but the game shows "Placement 2/5" instead of a tier until they are done. Placements move the rating more than later matches, so a strong start lands you in a higher tier straight away.

How the rating moves

Everyone starts at 1000. After a match the rating of each player rises or falls based on where they finished and how strong the opponents were, using a model built for free-for-alls and teams rather than a simple win/lose count. Beating a higher-rated player is worth more; losing to one costs less. In team queues the team's result counts for every member. Ranked and clan war matches also give double XP for your account level.

Tiers

Tiers are 150 rating points wide with three divisions each (III, II, I):

TierRating
Bronzebelow 1000
Silver1000–1149
Gold1150–1299
Platinum1300–1449
Diamond1450–1599
Master1600–1899
Grandmaster1900 and above

Your tier and rating show on your profile, on your lobby card and under your name in ranked lobbies, and the leaderboards in the main menu list the top players per queue.
