Describe what happened. Reports are reviewed by the team and can lead to chat mutes or bans, and you get a notification when your report is handled.
In matches you talk with quick chat (short phrases like "Attack the north", "Ally?", "Thanks") and emojis. There is no free text in matches, which removes most abuse before it starts. Clans have full chat among members.
Offensive names can be reported like anything else. Reserved names (a cosmetic) stop others from playing under an established player's name.
Other players see your name, flag, level and cosmetics, never your email. See the privacy policy.
Reports are reviewed by people, so the clearer yours is, the easier it is to handle. A good report:
| Report it | Probably not a report |
|---|---|
| Offensive or hateful names | A player who attacked you |
| Abusive messages in clan chat | A player who broke an alliance (that's part of the game, and it marks them as a traitor for everyone to see) |
| Suspected cheating | A player who nuked you |
| Harassment that follows you between matches or lobbies | Losing to a stronger player |
Betrayals, surprise attacks and nukes are part of a strategy game. In-game consequences already exist: breaking an alliance or nuking an ally makes you a traitor for 30 seconds, with defence halved and attacks slowed, and the mark is visible to everyone.
Most of what makes a match feel good is in players' hands. Use quick chat to say "Thanks" when an ally helps you, renew alliances before they run out instead of letting them lapse silently, and play the game out rather than leaving early. Strategy games are competitive, and a sharp betrayal is fair play; but names, clan chat and behaviour outside the rules of the game are where reports belong.
Reporting is for player behaviour. For questions about payments or your data, the right places are the refund policy, the privacy policy and the terms of service. For anything else you can contact the team at hupobabo@gmail.com.
Your report goes to the team for review. How reports are handled is covered by the terms of service and privacy policy.
Reports are reviewed and can lead to chat mutes or bans.
Reports are sent from the player's window in a match, their card in a lobby, or the message in clan chat. Report while you can still open one of those.
No. Matches use quick-chat phrases and emojis only. Clans have full chat among members, and those messages can be reported.
Community maps are reviewed before they're published to keep spam and offensive maps out. If you find a problem with one, contact the team. More about maps in can I make my own map?
